1. Provided an platform for regular inter-action for Railway Pensioners through periodic Meetings of General Body and Executive Committee.
2. Provided an effective forum to represent for redressal of grievances of Railway Pensioners in particular & Central Govt. Pensioners in general.
3. Opening of a Lockup dispansory and getting it upgraded to Health Unit by Railways act Chandigarh.
4. Developing greater Health Awareness among the Senior Citizens by holding Medical Camps and Medical Seminars.
5. Publication of Quarterly Journal to keeping Pensioners abreast with the latest Rules and orders on related issues.
6 Multifarious Website for Railway Pensioners for "Keeping Pensioners in touch with Past Present and Future"
7 Registration under "SANKALP" – an initiative od DOP&PW – to involve Senior Citizens in meaningful Social work.
8. Helping through personal contributions
the poor, needy and the destitute children, widows and the elderly throgh various NGOs working in the region.
