Details of Achievements

Conservation Himalayas has had a long-term perspective in its vision and goals. The human dimension of the human-wildlife conflict issues is our priority with the focus on the sustainable livelihood improvement of the stakeholder communities in the forest fringe villages. Three community livelihood improvement training centers have been set up in Uttarakhand as a strategy to reduce forest dependency activities of the women and connecting them with income generating skill development skills.
