| ADHAR IS A JOURNEY FROM “DEPENDENCE TO INDEPENDENCE†& FROM “INDEPENDENCE TO INTERDEPENDENCE†Adhar is a women’s Swawlambi cooperative society . The main objective of Adhar is to work for Socio-Economic upliftment of the Under Privileged people especially women & Adolescent Girls of Bihar. Adhar develop the skills of these women & Girls through Different types of Vocational & SKILL DEVELOPMENT Training such as, , Madhubani & Tikuli Craft, Aplic Work, Embroidery, Tailoring, House-Keeping, Fruits & Vegetable Preservation & NUTRITION Nutrition, Infant and Young Child Feeding, etc. and then help them to self employed or get a Jobs or creating markets for the products which are manufactured by them. Adhar is specialized in creating awareness among the people of weaker section especially for Adolescent Girl & women about the Health, Malnourishment amongst Women, Adolescent Girls & Children under 3years. Adhar is involved with different types of community work especially in the slum areas. It arranges for regular health checkup camps, free eye checkup & operations, water and sanitation drives etc. mainly for adolescent, women & children. Adhar is working closely with different governmental and donor agencies like Women Development Corporation, State Health Society, Bihar; Welfare Depptt. Govt of Bihar, Co-Operative Deptt. Bihar, Upendra Maharathi, UNICEF Bihar; ICDS Bihar, Food and Nutrition board, Ministry of Women and Child Development , Govt. of India; Micronutrient Initiative India,Power Grid Corporation of india, Bihar Chamber of Commerce and Industries, Bihar Industries Association, Deepayatan, etc. ONGOING TRAINING PROGRAM 1. Bihar Chamber Of Commerce and Industries :-  Since February 2014 Skill Development Training for Girls, (Embroidery, Zardozi, Sujni & Kantha work ,Aplic, Madhubani, Tikuli, Quilt Bag Making, Menhdi & Tailoring  Computer Training for Girls 2. Bihar Industries Association :- Computer Training for Boy 3. Training With Bihar Pradeshik Agrawal Sammelan 4. Food & Nutrition Board, Ministry of Women & Child Development, Govt. of India :-  Fruit-Vegetable Preservation & Nutrition Training since 1999. CONDUCTED 1. TRAINING AT Girls After Care Home 2. With Women Development Corporation, Bihar :-  3 months House Keeping Training at Patna 2 Batches, Gaya & Chapra one Batch each Total 120 Girls  Training to Inmates at Nishant After Care Home for Girls Patna  Jel & other Candle making training 3. Power Grid Corporation  Diff. Vocational Training Program, Tailoring, Health Camp 4. IDF :- Soft-Toys & other vocational Training 5. Conducted Seminar & Workshop on Skill Training & Awareness 6. Research Work 7. MARKETING NETWORK WORKSHOP FOR WOMEN ENTREPRENURE , SPONSORD BY SIDBI 8. ORGANISE "ADHAR MAHILA UDHAMI MELA" WITH THE HELP OF COOPERATIVE & OTHER DEPTT. Prizes 1.
