Academy for Computer Training (Guj.) Pvt. Ltd popularly known as ACTUNIV having its Headquarter in Ahmedabad, Gujarat a 26 year old organization started as an IT training company and was Microsoft’s first Authorised Training Centre of Gujarat and was also authorised training centre of Oracle and Sun Java. The company then diversified into educational content development and English Language Training. Today the company is involved in Placement linked Skill Training in IT and non IT sector, development of digital educational content, English Language Training and development and deployment of English Language Labs. ACTUNIV is a ISO 9001 : 2008 company and member of NASSCOM

ACTUNIV has three Authorised VTP centres and one NIELIT (DOEACC) accredited centre in Gujarat, catering to skill development trainings. Currently ACTUNIV is executing Placement linked Skill development training for the “Learn & Earn” program of Ministry of Minority Affairs, Government of India, till date we have trained 1100 candidates on various skills with placement ratio of 79% under this project. ACTUNIV is also executing Placement linked Skill training for the “Sant Shiromani Shree Ravidas High Skill Training” program of the Social Justice Department, Government of Gujarat, till date we have trained 900 candidates on various skills with placement ratio of 78% under this project. These program includes mobilization, training, assessment, placement and handholding for a period of one year.

ACTUNIV is executing India’s largest and most economical English Language Proficiency program – SCOPE in PPP mode with the Government of Gujarat, this project is the brain child of the then Chief Minister of Gujarat and current Prime Minister of India, Shri Narendra Modi. SCOPE has till date registered over 500000 candidates under this program, all the candidates registered in this program are assessed and certified by CAMBRIDGE.

ACTUNIV has fully functional content design and development team which is instrumental in creating India’s most widely accepted and used English Language Learning product: Words Worth English Language Labs. Words Worth is a unique English learning program that trains and prepares the participant to communicate effectively in English with clarity and confidence. It offers the best in terms of content, continuous evaluation, teaching expertise and methodology. The learning system includes various tools for the use of trainers, facilitators, learners and the self learning groups. These tools use digital as well as print material. Currently over 3000 institutions across the country are using the Words Worth English Language Lab to enhance English language communication of their students, these institutes include many universities, technical colleges, ITI’s and many Army Schools. ACTUNIV is also one of the largest OEM suppliers of language lab to major ICT companies operating in India. Words Worth digital content was also used by Rajasthan Knowledge Corporation Limited and initiative of Rajasthan Government.
